Pharmacokinetics
Pharmacokinetics (PK) and Pharmacodynamics (PD) are essential aspects when new compounds or drugs are tested. Pharmacokinetics describes what the body does with the substance including ADME processes (Absorption, Distribution, Metabolism, Excretion).
Pharmacodynamics focuses on what the drug does with body and how it affects the condition of interest. It also can unravel possible side-effects.
